Welcome to Karlosophies, I'm Karly Nimmo... and to be honest, I'm still very much figuring out this thing called life. Karlosophies has been a training ground for me to show up and speak up. It's grown and changed, as I've grown and changed. It started as a way for me to come to terms with the biggest failure of my life, and now that the failure chapter is officially closed, I want to explore what it's like to live life with the lid off.... what happens when you start living a life free of others expectation, and at times, your own... and start living a life in brilliant technicolour. Each week, I'll show up and peel back another layer of the stories that make up the fabric of who I am... and occasionally I'll dive deep with a guest on a topic that has piqued my curiosity. The intention of this podcast is to help you to remember, and step into, the truth, power and potential of who you really are. First and foremost, Amy Wright is a mom and has been her entire freaking adult life. She didn't used to drink at all... and then she had a teenager. It was self medication or the nut house, ya'll.


Amy and her husband have 5 kids in their blended family and yes, they know what causes it so please don't ask or she'll make shit real awkward for you.

She started her online business in 2009 and tried to fit into a little box of elevator speeches and niches and "5 secrets to blah, blah, blah" for yeeeeeears. And shit just didn't work out for her the way she wanted.

She got sick of trying to squeeze her ass into that little box. So she gave it the double bird and ripped that box apart, piece by piece.
She finally embraced her gift of humor and became The Drunk Mom, making videos about life, parenting, embarrassing moments and brutal honesty. BOOM... awesome explosion!
